Job Description:

John Marshall Media is the World’s Largest Independent Producer of Audio Books, and audio for the Educational Publishing Industry. We are looking for experienced, detail oriented recording engineers to join our team. The work involves setting up, recording, and ensuring file delivery for audiobook/VO sessions using DAWs like Pro Tools and Reaper. Preference is given to keeping one engineer working on a full book/project. This is a freelance/as needed position with 20-25+ hours per week.

Requirements:

- College education in audio engineering or related field preferred.

- Commercial studio experience is a plus.

- Must be able to travel to our office in Midtown Manhattan as needed.

- Must have a viable set-up for running remote sessions.

- 2 years of audiobook experience and 3 years of recording audio engineering experience required.

- Ability to relocate to Decatur, GA 30030 before starting work.

Other Information:
