Job Description

Looking for a talented Video Editor to join our team. We are starting a new YouTube creator channel that focuses on woodworking, 3D printing, laser engraving, CNC milling, electronics, pottery, and a myriad of other creative endeavors. The ideal candidate will have passions for both storytelling and making things with their hands.

Responsibilities:

• Edit and assemble recorded raw material into a suitable, finished product ready for YouTube and other social media
• Utilize software for video editing and motion graphics design
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality visual content
• Incorporate music, dialogues, graphics, and effects to enhance the final product
• Review and amend final edits as per feedback

Requirements

• Proficiency in either Final Cut Pro or Davinci Resolve
• Experience in video production, post-production, and content creation
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Ability to work in-person at our workshop in Lakewood, CO at least 50% of your time

Nice to have

• Experience developing a social media presence for YouTube, Instagram, and other platforms
• Experience creating course-like video content
• Experience with filming and photography in addition to editing content

Additional Information

Open to candidates at all experience levels. Work will be part-time / contract based to begin with but can evolve to full-time role over time.
