Job Description

The UI and API Developer is responsible for designing and developing responsive and intuitive user interfaces, as well as creating robust and scalable APIs that support front-end functionalities.

Responsibilities

UI Development:

• Create responsive and interactive web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Work closely with UX designers to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
• Optimize web applications for performance, speed, and scalability.

API Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using back-end technologies like Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Ensure APIs are secure, scalable, and adhere to best practices in API design.
• Integrate APIs with third-party services and internal systems.

Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to deliver high-quality products.
• Participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to maintain high code quality.
• Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Testing and Debugging:

• Conduct thorough testing of UI components and APIs to ensure functionality and reliability.
• Debug and resolve issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to end-users.
• Write unit and integration tests to uphold code quality standards.

Documentation:

• Maintain detailed documentation of the UI components, APIs, and overall development processes.
• Provide clear documentation for other developers and stakeholders to facilitate ongoing development and maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a UI/UX Developer or API Developer.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks.
• Experience in developing RESTful APIs using Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
