Job Description:

This role involves reviewing and presenting proposed system solutions to IT Project Manager/Leader and User Management or System owner. Responsibilities include development and maintenance on platform/application, preparing system/technical documentation, meeting with end users to gather requirements, facilitating daily stand-ups, coaching colleagues and users when required, understanding integration between different technologies, and coordinating between development and support environments.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have a diploma/degree in a business/IT environment, at least 6-8 years’ experience in a relevant programming language, expertise in on-premise virtualization technology, and proficiency in technologies such as Angular 6/7/8, Java 8, J2EE, JDBC, Junit, JPQL, OpenShift/Docker/Kubernetes, Jenkins, JavaScript/TypeScript, Maven, Gradle, and PostgreSQL.

Other Information:

This is a long-term contract position that will rotate between Midrand/Rosslyn and working from home, offering a negotiable contract rate of between R540 to R660 per hour.
