Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Product Designer to join one of Canada’s largest athletic apparel retailers in Vancouver, BC. This is a 6-month contract position within the NA Design Excellence and Operations team, specifically the Web Design Systems Team. The team focuses on shaping user experiences across guest applications by refining web design system components, collaborating with cross-functional teams, leading the evolution of the web design system, creating detailed documentation, and supporting fellow designers in leveraging the design system.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in product design or user experience design, with a focus on responsive web and design systems.
- Expertise in Figma, ability to componentize UI elements, and up-to-date with the latest releases/updates.
- Proven skills in Design Systems, Responsive Design, User-Centered Design Methodologies, and Digital Accessibility.
- A portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process showing cohesive, accessible, and systematic solutions.
- Solid technical proficiency in Figma and ability to componentize UI elements for reusability.
- BA / BS degree in UX/UI design, UCD, HCI, or related field of study, or equivalent experience.

The role requires a proactive individual who can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, contribute to the evolution of web design systems, and support fellow designers through documentation and training.
