Job Description:
Lead three choirs in Pembrokeshire, engaging with local communities and helping members develop their musical skills and confidence. Conduct weekly 1.5-hour choir sessions during term times, teach contemporary Rock Choir material, create a fun and inclusive learning environment, handle administrative tasks, attend meetings, and training events.
Requirements:
Proficient in reading music/chords, piano playing, and singing. Must have a Full UK Driving Licence and access to a car. Own PA system, keyboard, and head mic. Charismatic, energetic, committed, and self-motivated. Ability to create an inclusive teaching environment. Strong organisational skills for managing administrative tasks.
Additional Information:
Full training and ongoing support provided. No prior choir-leading experience needed. Flexible part-time, self-employed role with guaranteed income. Holidays aligned with school terms. Applicants must be willing to participate in events/admin outside regular rehearsal times. Application deadline is 18/07/2024. Expected start date is 13/01/2025.
