Job Description

The Photography Assistant works with the Team Photographer to capture club events, team activities, and special projects. Responsibilities include editing, organizing, and archiving photos on the internal database.

Requirements

• Current/rising senior or graduated from a Bachelor’s degree program in photography, photojournalism, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Prior experience with photographing sports in a fast-paced environment, preferably football
• Proficient in Adobe photo editing programs like Photoshop and Camera Raw
• Experience with adding metadata and making IPTC templates in Photo Mechanic
• Knowledge of FTP and in-game workflow using Photoshelter
• Ability to navigate and organize a photo archive system
• Strong understanding of social media and content creation for specific platforms
• Ability to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, especially during the NFL season
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented and highly self-motivated
• Must complete pre-employment forms and pass a background check

This position is part-time, temporary, and non-exempt. The location is at the Arizona Cardinals in Arizona. The job duration is from July 2024 to June 2025.
