Job Description:

As the User Experience (UX) Lead, you will be responsible for designing and assuring the user experience of RSSBโ€™s digital products, with a focus on usability and accessibility. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive and engaging experiences for industry tools, the member website, and internal business systems. Your role will involve emphasizing data insights and finding interactive ways for users to engage with data.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and lead user experience design for strategic, large, or complex products.
  • Lead user experience analysis, understanding product usage context, and specifying design and accessibility goals.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to align UX goals with business objectives.
  • Create and iterate prototypes and wireframes to visualize user interfaces and user journeys.
  • Define standards and techniques for user experience design.
  • Champion user-centered design principles within the company.
  • Ensure solutions meet accessibility standards and agreed design requirements.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and A/B testing to inform design decisions.

Qualifications:

Essential:

  • Relevant qualifications in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, or related field.
  • Experience in UX design, including wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
  • Proficiency in design tools like Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD.
  • Experience in designing engaging data visualizations and interactable data.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle and governance.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to change.
  • Committed to customer satisfaction and team goals.

Desirable:

  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience designing interfaces for Sitecore, Power Platform, and/or Dynamics.
