Job Description

Kerfuffle is seeking an adventurous and enthusiastic Musician/Composer for the world premiere of Bookworms, an interactive play for very young children and their caregivers. The Musician/Composer will create and perform sound elements for the play in a quasi-improvisational manner, using various musical instruments, live foley, and computer software. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with interacting and improvising with children and families.

Requirements

- Prior experience or interest in working with and/or teaching very young children and physical theatre is preferred, but not required.

- Able to perform sound effects, underscoring, and atmospheres using a variety of musical instruments, live foley, and computer software.

- Comfortable with close interaction and improvisation with children and families.
