Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and flexible individual who is passionate about using social media to build communities and create a sense of belonging to the Faculty of Medicine, Health and Social Care Operations Team. The Social Media Content Creator is responsible for leading and developing the faculty’s social media and digital content. The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day operation of social media accounts, create and optimize content, attend events, and work on enhancing stakeholder relationships while promoting the faculty within brand guidelines.
Requirements
The ideal candidate should:
- Have education to GCSE standard or equivalent.
- Possess experience in writing/editing multimedia content (video/audio, etc.) for social or other media platforms.
- Demonstrate understanding of inclusive marketing and the ability to create content for diverse backgrounds.
- Have experience using analytics tools and producing trend reports with constructive recommendations.
Additional Information
The post holder will be based at the Canterbury Campus but must be flexible to work off-site and attend events, including at the Medway campus. A valid driver’s license and access to a car are required, along with business use included on vehicle insurance.

Salary and Contract Information
Salary: £27,181 to £29,605 per annum pro-rata
Contractual Hours: 18.5 hours per week (part-time), fixed-term contract for 12 months maternity cover.
