Job Title: Creative Lead, Nations and Regions
Reports to: Senior Client Lead
Department: Agency Sales
Location: Manchester
Job Purpose: The Creative Lead will report hard-line to the Senior Content and Creative Lead in the Nations & Regions and have a dotted line to the Creative Leader in London. This role entails collaborating with the Creative Hub team to deliver creative excellence for agencies and clients. The Creative Lead will handle daily briefs and work on proactive initiatives for Channel 4, while ensuring alignment in work and values across programming, marketing, and commercial sectors. The position is essential for supporting the Nations and Regions team and involves collaboration with the London-based Creative team on selected projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver creative excellence and craft through idea development, with a focus on art direction for campaigns.
- Present and steward ideas with clients and through production.
- Set the Creative Hub’s creative agenda and define our market position as a media owner for strategic and creative excellence.
- Collaborate with the client team to identify proactive opportunities for developing partnerships.
- Establish relationships with media agencies and clients to build trust and collaborative work.
- Maintain expert knowledge of Channel 4’s platforms to inspire creative thinking.
- Protect and enhance the Channel 4 brand.
- Work with leadership to shift the internal creative culture and re-engage the industry.
- Inspire agencies and clients in the Nations and Regions to increase the quality and quantity of creative projects.
Requirements
Essential Skills and Experience
- 4+ years of experience as a Creative in the advertising industry.
- Strong art-direction skills and proficiency with Adobe packages.
- Proven track record of developing and delivering creative ideas for brands.
- Experience in presenting to clients.
- Willingness to travel to different Channel 4 offices and client locations.
- Experience in producing award-winning campaigns.
- Portfolio showcasing successful creative campaigns across various platforms.
- Ability to oversee multiple work streams and manage simultaneous projects.
- Passion for creativity and industry thought leadership.
Desired
- Experience working with media agencies on creative-led campaigns.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Ability to create presentations in PowerPoint.
- Understanding of TV regulations and restrictions.
Autonomy/Judgement/Decision Making
The role requires collaboration with various teams to ensure briefs meet customer expectations.
Complexity/Problem Solving
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and tasks efficiently are essential.
Salary
Basic salary starting from £63,875.00 per annum, dependent on experience.
