Job Description

Job Title: Web Front End Developer

Location: Remote, can sit either in east coast hours or pacific hours

Duration: 12 months

PR: $91.00/hr on W2

Hours: 9am to 6pm typical hours

Not a lead role, will be working as an individual contributor on testing.

Is specific industry experience required? Entertainment experience is a plus, Purchase/Ecommerce Streaming experience is a plus, Experience with companies that utilize store fronts with technology for credit card processing is a plus.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Previous experience with large-scale browser based delivery, working on high-volume/high-traffic sites.
• 5+ years of experience with web application development using JavaScript.
• Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and Design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Deep understanding of web application development and best practices.
• Experience developing responsive websites.
• Solid knowledge of CSS, Sass/LESS, HTML.
• Proficient in React.js or Vue.js.
• Solid knowledge of HTML DOM and Event APIs.
• Experience reading network panels and performance dashboards (what happens between the server and the browser).
• Experience working with OOP PHP.
• Effective communication skills.
• Refined processes and understanding of how to “Test” code and applications for performance and correctness.

Nice To Have:

• Experience working with GraphQL.
• Experience working with Next.js and Node.js.
• Experience with frameworks like Symfony, Laravel, or Zend.
• Working knowledge of Docker and CI tools.
• Experience with observability tools for logs and performance monitoring.
• Refined processes for Diagramming and Documentation to communicate design and ideas.
