Job Description
High End Furniture and Design company is seeking a part-time freelance designer / draftsperson to create furniture shop drawings. The role involves approximately 15-30 hours of work per month, primarily using SolidWorks, although this requirement may be flexible in the future. The candidate is expected to work independently and produce high-quality drawings that meet client specifications.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a freelance designer or in a similar design role.
- Strong proficiency in SolidWorks; knowledge of other software (e.g., SketchUp) is a plus.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new design software and technologies.
Job Highlights
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 5 per week
Approximately 15-30 hours a month
