Job Description

Danrie is a baby and children’s boutique specializing in beautiful (and beautifully made) apparel, toys, gear, and gifts hand-picked from all over the world to create a one-stop shopping experience for growing up stylishly. We are seeking a Chicago-based Freelance Social Media Content Creator responsible for engaging with and growing the Danrie community. The role involves establishing a strategy for increasing brand awareness and creating content that highlights product offerings while establishing the brand as a destination for growing up stylishly. This will be a contracted role, working out of the Founder + CEO’s home office.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

• Multi-channel social media brand strategy
• Creating content for all relevant platforms and channels
• Danrie Community engagement and management
• Identifying emerging trends that can be used to drive innovation and grow communication engagement and community size across all platforms
• Aligning posts with global marketing calendar and liaising with New York team for visibility on when posts will go live
• Tracking and analyzing social media performance metrics

Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

• Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Basic knowledge of graphic design and video editing (e.g., Canva)
• Passion for and fluency across social media platforms
• Self-motivated, solution-oriented and hands-on
• Great organizational skills
