Job Description

This is a freelance role based in the UK with a requirement to travel to our London office and other filming locations on a regular basis. The position is for a Videographer in the Creative Studio department, reporting to the Senior Producer. The role involves taking social video content to the next level through flair, creativity, and proactivity. It will primarily involve editing, with responsibilities spanning filming and post-production, including working on both short and long form video content for social media and digital platforms.

Requirements

Required Skills:

  • 4 years’ experience in a similar role
  • An eye for detail, composition, framing, lighting, and color when shooting
  • A passion for storytelling and visuals
  • Strong communication skills, ability to stay calm under pressure, and capable of commanding a crew on set
  • Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members
  • Understanding of marketing and enthusiasm for social media
  • Willingness to stay updated with new trends and technologies

Technical Knowledge/Experience:

  • Strong experience with digital cameras (e.g., Sony FX9, Canon R6, Sony A7III, Blackmagic URSA)
  • Experience with lighting equipment for indoor and outdoor setups
  • Good knowledge of grading, audio editing, and sound design
  • Experience with audio recording equipment and digital audio interfaces
  • Experience with gimbals, tripods, and monopods (drone experience a plus)
  • Proven experience across social media, online and offline media, and broadcast
  • Knowledge of video codecs, file formats, and specs for web
  • Proficient knowledge of Premiere Pro and good working knowledge of After Effects

Preferred Skills:

  • An interest in film and TV
  • Experience in various media industry environments
  • Experience with After Effects for simple GFX
  • Experience with DaVinci Resolve for color grading
