Job Description

This is a freelance role based in the UK, with a requirement to travel to our London office and other filming locations regularly. The position is for a Videographer in the Creative Studio department, reporting to the Senior Producer. The salary is negotiable, and the location is hybrid (mainly remote with travel to the office in Wapping, East London, and other filming locations).

As part of the team, you will enhance social video content by bringing flair, creativity, and proactivity. The role is expected to involve a 25/75% mix of filming and editing, heavily favoring editing. You will be responsible for editing content from feature films, console game materials, and filmed footage, producing high-quality short and long-form videos for social media and digital spaces.

Filming tasks may include capturing experiential events, influencer activations in foreign countries, and near-real-time red carpet content for social distribution.

Requirements

Required Skills:

• 4 years’ experience in a similar role
• An eye for detail in composition, framing, lighting, and color
• A passion for storytelling and visuals
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead a crew under pressure
• Technical troubleshooting skills in the field and at the editing desk
• Ability to collaborate effectively with designers, strategists, and project managers
• An understanding of marketing and enthusiasm for social media
• Willingness to stay updated with new trends and technologies

Technical Knowledge/Experience:

• Strong experience with digital cameras and filming equipment (e.g., Sony FX9, Canon R6)
• Experience with lighting equipment and setting scenes
• Knowledge of grading, audio editing, and sound design
• Experience using audio recording equipment and digital audio interfaces
• Experience with gimbals, tripods, and monopods; drone experience is a plus
• Proven experience across social media, online/offline media, and broadcast
• Knowledge of video codecs, file formats, and web specs
• Proficient in Premiere Pro and good knowledge of After Effects

Preferred Skills:

• An interest in film and TV
• Experience in various media industry environments
• Experience with After Effects for simple graphics
• Experience with DaVinci Resolve for color grading
