Job Description

At InSign AI Ltd, our mission is to break down communication barriers between Deaf and hearing people through innovation in accessibility. We recently launched an AI avatar capable of translating information into British Sign Language. You will work on cutting-edge technology that makes a real difference in the world as part of a diverse and inclusive team, gaining hands-on experience in a rapidly evolving field.

Key Responsibilities

• Animation Creation and Editing: Use Reallusion iClone to create, evaluate, and modify 3D character animations, ensuring they align with our high standards of accessibility.
• Motion Capture Management: Clean up motion capture data, correct skeleton rigging, and edit animations to fit our process pipeline.
• Detail-Oriented Adjustments: Manipulate keyframes, adjust avatar limb positions, and refine joint rotations for torso, arms, hands, fingers, and facial expressions.
• Collaboration and Independence: Work both independently and with the team to ensure animations meet project requirements.

Requirements

• Proficiency in British Sign Language: Ideally, you hold an NRCPD qualification.
• Attention to Detail: You have a keen eye for detail and can critically analyse animations to ensure they meet our standards.
• Self-Starter: You can learn new skills through web and video tutorials, practice, experimentation, and mentoring.
• Technical Skills:
• Understanding of lighting and camera setups in virtual environments.
• Experience with 3D software such as iClone, Daz, Blender, or similar tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with motion capture and game or level design in Unity or Unreal Engine is advantageous.

Compensation

Competitive Hourly Rate: £15-£20 per hour, depending on experience.
