Job Description

Our premium brand Automotive client is currently recruiting for the role of UX Designer - Human Factors, offered at £32/hr (Inside IR35). This is a hybrid position based in Warwickshire for a duration of 6 months with potential to extend. The role involves collaboration with other UX designers, product owners, system owners, and UX researchers to create UX designs, prototypes, and specifications that are usable, technically feasible, align with system designs and constraints, and are based on sound Human Centred Design principles in automotive HMI. Additionally, the role includes project management responsibilities, which entail communicating project status and designs to stakeholders across the wider business.

Requirements

Skills Required:

• Experience in UX Design or collaboration with UX designers demonstrating understanding of their priorities.
• Project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with Figma or equivalent design tools or design systems.

Experience Required:

• Qualification or 3+ years of experience in one of the following areas: Human Factors/HMI, Industrial Design or Product Design, Product Design Engineering, Electrical, Electronic, Software Engineering.

Experience Preferred:

• General understanding of systems engineering and logical design.
• General understanding of Front-end or HMI software development.
• Data analysis experience.
• Experience in creating animations.

Additional Information

This role is contracted and is inside IR35. The working arrangement is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days in the office in Warwickshire.
