Job Description

Navistar is currently seeking an Entry-level UX Designer to enhance their business operations. This position is based out of their World Headquarters in Lisle, Illinois, outside of Chicago. As a UX Designer, you will be responsible for designing intuitive, user-friendly interfaces for commercial vehicle service applications. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product owners, developers, and stakeholders, to create seamless experiences that meet the unique needs of users in the commercial vehicle service sector.

Responsibilities

This position will support the Digital Solutions department within Service Solutions. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

• Lead the design process from concept to final hand-off, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure the successful implementation of design solutions.
• Support UX Research initiatives as required.
• Develop user stories, personas, and storyboards.
• Develop wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes to support UI development.
• Validate and test UI concepts with end users using established usability testing methods.
• Track UX trends and look for creative ideas from analogous industries.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of software engineering experience OR
• Master’s degree with at least 4 years of software engineering experience.
