Job Description

We are seeking a freelance SEO Specialist to assist our team. This role focuses on project-based SEO optimization, proofing, and editing for multiple client websites. You will work closely with our SEO lead to implement SEO strategies and contribute to client success.

An ideal candidate for this position has a background in SEO and is extremely analytical. Our clients are demanding in their expectations and we, in turn, will look to you to provide us with ample statistics to support your progress, as well as plans to further our success.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Implementing keyword strategies on a page-by-page basis, as well as overall client strategy
• Writing, editing, and proofreading content for optimization
• Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on all client progress relating to SEO and on-site performance and communicating to the Team Lead
• Providing recommendations and support to improve internal processes and procedures continuously

Skills Needed:

• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills
• Excellent writing skills
• A strong understanding of Internet marketing
• Strong skills in using reporting and analytics tools, such as Google Analytics
• Basic design and HTML skills are a plus
• Experience using analytics dashboards or other software solutions to analyze, track, and automate search and content analysis
• 2 years of prior SEO or related experience required

Additional Details

This is a freelance-based position with the possibility of ongoing work. Compensation will be discussed based on the project scope and your experience. Remote work with occasional virtual meetings.
