Job Description

Framestore Integrated Advertising is continuously seeking exceptional design talent for freelance opportunities at our US-based offices. If you are a freelancer interested in being considered for future roles, please submit your details. The work primarily involves executing animations as designed and art-directed by senior team members, with strong 2D and/or 3D animation skills being essential. Familiarity with Photoshop CC, Illustrator, and AfterFX is required, while knowledge of Cinema 4D, Houdini, or Maya is advantageous but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Create highly engaging and complex motion graphics animations for various projects.
• Conceptualize and produce design projects with internal Art Directors and Creative Directors.
• Create style frames, storyboards, motion tests, and assemble treatments for pitch presentations.
• Work independently on design projects or as part of a larger team on design-focused areas.
• Manage time effectively and provide accurate assessments of workload and time required for tasks.

Requirements

• Strong 2D and/or 3D animation skills.
• Ability to draw/storyboard and develop character designs.
• Interest in typography is a useful characteristic but not always necessary.
• Comfortable using Photoshop CC, Illustrator, and AfterFX.
• Experience with Cinema 4D, Houdini, or Maya is a bonus.

Benefits

Pay rates for freelancers based in California and New York are as follows:

• Juniors (<1 year - 3 years experience): $25 - $35 per hour.
• Mids (4 - 6 years experience): $400 - $550 per day.
• Seniors (6+ years of experience): $600 - $900 per day.

The posted range reflects the minimum to maximum pay for this role in New York and California, in accordance with the New York Pay Transparency Bill and the California Pay Transparency Law. Compensation may vary in other markets, depending on the applicant’s skills, experience, and qualifications.
