Location: Bristol, Hybrid 2+ Days per week in the office
Salary: Up to £45,000 if you have all the skills & experience / Plus up to 10% annual company bonus
As a Product Designer (UX/UI), your continuous collaboration with the product and engineering team will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our current and future products and services. From customer discovery and concept ideation to delivery, you will uphold the users’ needs while collaborating with engineering teams to translate your visions into reality. This is an opportunity to help accelerate the transition to renewable energy.
Responsibilities
Upon joining, your objectives and responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to understand project goals and define design requirements.
- Conducting research to uncover user needs.
- Defining user needs into statements that clarify the solutions, features, and experiences created by the business.
- Leading brainstorming and ideation sessions to generate new and innovative design concepts.
- Creating low-fidelity wireframes and prototypes to effectively visualize and communicate design ideas.
- Testing and validating ideas with real users and customers.
- Developing high-fidelity visual designs in Figma that align with the overall product vision and brand guidelines.
- Maintaining a design system for consistency across solutions.
- Supporting and conducting user research and usability testing to validate design decisions and iterate on prototypes.
- Working closely with development teams to ensure seamless integration of design concepts into the final product.
- Setting up metrics to track your solution’s usability once implemented.
Requirements
You should apply if you have:
- Proven experience as a Product Designer (UX/UI) with a strong portfolio showcasing a user-centered design process.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Xd, Miro, Mural.
- In-depth understanding of user-centered design principles and interaction design.
- Ability to convert concepts into visually stimulating, build-ready solutions.
- Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

- Knowledge of development technologies (ReactJS).
