Job Description

The Senior Designer (Motion Graphics Specialist) will be a key member of the Group Marketing Department at Cox Automotive, which aims to transform the way the world buys, sells, owns, and uses vehicles. This role involves taking the lead on creative projects, delivering high-quality design work, and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships. The position specifically focuses on motion graphics and video projects while collaborating with the studio team and external video agencies.

The main responsibilities include conceptualizing and delivering creative outputs, managing video projects from start to finish, and maintaining adherence to brand guidelines. The Senior Designer will also be responsible for developing processes and assets to drive efficiency in animation production and guiding less experienced colleagues.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a fast-paced environment with a strong portfolio demonstrating creative design solutions.

• Educated to degree level or equivalent industry experience.

• Highly skilled in Adobe After Effects, Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft PowerPoint.

• Experience in creating animation and motion graphics, as well as stakeholder management.

• Ability to articulate, present, and pitch creative rationale effectively.

• Knowledge of print processes and video editing is advantageous.

• Strong commitment to personal development and staying current with design and animation trends.
