Job Description

As a Senior Animator, you will be a recognised expert in Gameplay Animation, joining a team of Gameplay Animators and Designers to develop engaging combat and social gameplay for Players and AI, as well as enriching the Universe of Star Citizen and Squadron 42. Your role includes designing animation flowgraphs, blocking out animations, assisting on mocap sets, mentoring junior staff, editing and implementing high-quality motion capture performances, and keyframing actions for Players, AI, and Creatures.

Requirements

• Commercial experience in game animation development, ideally on current/next-gen consoles.

• Ability to breakdown complex behaviours and gameplay concepts, and collaborate effectively with designers.

• Experience with Maya, MotionBuilder, and other equivalent software.

• Capability to create fluid, smooth, realistic animations with a strong understanding of animation fundamentals.

• Ability to identify technical and developmental risks, while innovating solutions.

• Mentorship experience with junior staff.

• A desire to challenge your own ideas and those of your peers in pursuit of excellence.
