About Rapid Retail: For over a decade, Rapid Retail has supported clients across the UK and Europe with retail solutions, ranging from major international sports brands and stadiums to smaller clubs, retailers, visitor attractions, and entertainment venues. We pride ourselves on our experience as retail specialists, supplying a range of bespoke pop-up shops, mobile kiosks, and other retail solutions to the world’s most prominent brands, such as Adidas, Liverpool Football Club, and FC Barcelona.

The Role: We are looking for a creative thinker to join our expanding team. You will be responsible for producing all forms of copywriting content including SEO digital copy, product descriptions, editorial features, e-newsletters, blog posts, social media, and website copy, along with offline and other ad hoc copywriting requirements.

We are looking for a “hands-on,” highly driven and motivated person with self-sufficiency who can develop and implement ideas to drive growth and capture the business story.

Requirements

Candidate Requirements:

• Demonstrated expertise as a copywriter ideally with experience in the sports sector.
• A strong interest and knowledge in sport.
• Highly competent with using marketing software packages, such as Mailchimp.
• Strong ability to work independently, paired with strong time management skills.
• Strategic thinker with a results-focused mindset.
• A quick learner with a hunger for self-development.
• Full UK driving license.

Preferable:

• Experience in using SEO software tracking tools, such as Semrush.
• Ideally experience of working for a modular building company or similar backgrounds.
• Understanding of marketing and how to position a business to drive inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

• Write clear, compelling copy for various mediums.
• Ongoing development of new ideas, creative concepts, headlines, video scripts, social posts, and various other forms of online/offline storytelling.
• Edit and proofread copy as needed.
• Collaborate with the team to create stories around business activities.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, changing work environment.
• Meet deadlines and write successfully under tight timelines.
• Create and maintain a high-performance, results-oriented environment with an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Adapt and use initiative to complete tasks.
• Competently take high-quality imagery and videos while visiting locations.

Benefits

• Remuneration: £24,000 - £26,000 pa.
• Pension: 5% employee contribution, 3% employer contribution.
• 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (implemented after successful probation period).
