Job Description

WHO WE ARE: TBNR (The Best Never Rest) was founded by the trailblazing Content Creator, Preston Arsement (known widely as PrestonPlayz) in 2012 with his first YouTube channel and has been growing nonstop ever since. As a result, in 2023 TBNR was approved by YouTube as the first Creator-owned MCN (multi channel network). Fire MCN gets an average of 40 million views per day. Over the past 18 months, TBNR has evolved from an explicitly YouTube content production house to a global disruptor in social content and human communication. We at TBNR are a group of skilled CREATORS coming from various backgrounds including content creation, music, theater, coding, architectural design, movie and television set construction, tech and VC startups, professional gaming, video game development, and beyond!

WHO YOU ARE: You are a CREATOR who has been responsible for bringing something new into existence whether it’s a tangible object, a piece of art, or even a piece of software! You are YouTube obsessed and enjoy having fun and being weird. You are a solutions-oriented problem solver who embraces RADICAL CANDOR, a continued learner seeking further education for growth, an excellent collaborator who fuels excitement, and someone who asks questions to spark change within themselves and the Company. You possess a positive disposition, learn from failure, recognize wins, and have strong attention to detail alongside great organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Your direct responsibilities will include:

• Filming content for our main IRL channels, focusing on what drives excitement for our audience.
• Setting up and breaking down lights and camera gear on set.
• Microphoning talent and ensuring sound sync before filming.
• Fully understanding scripts and outlines, filming each scene for maximum retention.
• Working with Directors to create shot lists for each production & shoot day.
• Helping film collaborations with other YouTubers and their teams.
• Managing and maintaining all camera and lighting equipment.
• Dumping and organizing footage post-shoot to ensure all necessary content is available for editing.
• Collaborating with the Production Coordinator to schedule pick-up shots and thumbnail photos.
• Participating in YouTube analytics reviews to understand video success factors.
• Engaging in regular post-mortem conversations to continuously improve our productions.
• Performing all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2+ years of Videography experience.
• Proficiency in Google Suite.
• Deep understanding of the Production Process.
• Knowledge of Sony Cameras.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and well-organized.
