Salary: Β£29,250 β Β£34,655 per annum β for internal applicants, internal reward principles will apply
Location: Glasgow/Darlington/Llandudno
Pension: A Civil Service Pension with an employer contribution of 28.97%
Type: 6-month secondment / 6-month fixed-term contract

The exciting opportunity for a Junior Content Designer involves working closely with stakeholders to simplify information and help users achieve their goals while delivering policy intent across digital and offline channels. The role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver user-centric services. SLC offers a blended working model which typically involves 2 days in the office and 3 days from home.
Requirements
Skills and Experience:
- Effective communication skills with the ability to adapt delivery according to the audience and maintain attention to detail.
- Awareness of Government accessibility requirements.
- Experience in understanding and implementing design principles.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and digital tools.
- Previous experience in a junior content designer role or related sectors such as journalism, marketing, communications, publishing, or editorial roles.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines.
