Position: Sr Videographer/Editor

Department: Academic Affairs

Work Type: Part-time Temporary, Non-Exempt

Location: Overland Park Main Campus

Work Schedule: Varies depending on department needs, approximately 12 hours per week

Pay Range: $20.02-$25.77, determined based on relevant years of work experience

Benefits: Partial benefits

Position Summary: Provide video recording and editing services to support faculty, staff, and students using various formats and platforms. Manage multi-camera studio and remote projects from pre-production through final delivery.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma and 3+ years of relevant experience
• Ability to conduct important technical work under moderate supervision and often work independently

Position Details

Job Duties Include:

• Edit video and audio for recordings of varying lengths
• Record video and audio of studio and remote productions
• Create high-quality videos, motion graphics, and audio-visual materials for training and instructional purposes
• Set up equipment for studio and remote productions, including multiple cameras and lighting
• Operate audio mixers, video switchers, character generators, and teleprompters
• Schedule appointments and coordinate production details with clients and co-workers
• Provide training for new staff and direct multi-camera productions
• Maintain and manage project files, ensuring organization and backup
