Job Description

We are looking for rough hand-drawn animators to assist on an indie animated project. Animators should be able to create works that reflect the animation styles seen in films by Disney, Warner Bros, or MGM. Specific references include titles such as Klaus, Princess and the Frog, Winnie the Pooh (2011), The Lion King, and Looney Tunes: Back in Action.

The job offers compensation starting at $50 per shot for rough animation, plus an additional $10 for each extra character featured in the shot. Each shot will vary in length from 3 to 10 seconds. Note that this is a smaller budgeted, freelance opportunity that requires a high level of passion and commitment.

Requirements

Animators must demonstrate the ability to produce work in line with specified animation stylings. Applicants who cannot animate to this standard should not reach out. Relevant experience with the specified animation styles and an ability to follow clear instructions are crucial.
