Job Description

A Digital Marketplace on a Mission to the Moon! We are a game-changing, disruptive, and innovative company, named ‘Europe’s fastest growing ecommerce company’ by the Financial Times. We are launching in 112 new countries and are seeking an enthusiastic Senior Front End PHP Developer to join our remote team.

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 plus benefits.

Requirements

About You:

  • Experienced and talented Senior Front End PHP Developer with knowledge of PHP and MySQL.
  • Strong JavaScript and jQuery skills.
  • Sound knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), design principles, and building quality, SOLID, and robust reusable solutions.
  • Experience with modern web frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular.
  • Ability to contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from project scoping to delivery.
  • Enjoys team collaboration but can also write quality, testable, reusable code independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement web-based user interfaces following industry best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to standards.
  • Stay up to date with the latest front-end technologies and trends, applying them to projects.
  • Help optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Work closely with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic.
  • Write new front-end tests (JavaScript) and maintain a suite of automated regression tests.

  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
  • Experience with React, Vue.js, or Angular
  • GIT/Source Control
  • OOP, PHP 8+
  • MySQL, LAMP
  • GCP/AWS
