Job Description
We are looking for a web designer to join our team in the Newcastle office. The ideal candidate will have experience in web design, strong graphic design abilities, and the capability to create visually appealing websites.
Requirements
- Experience in web design, ideally in an office environment
- Strong graphic design skills
- Ability to code clean, semantic HTML and CSS
- Ability to create responsive web pages that work across different devices and screen sizes
- Understanding of JavaScript for dynamic and interactive elements
- Knowledge of user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) design principles
- Aware of W3C standards and familiar with cross browser testing
- Understanding of best practices for search engine optimization
- Excellent communication skills with clients and colleagues
- Strong problem-solving skills and high levels of creativity
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a team and understand customer care
- Strong time management skills, especially when handling multiple projects
