Job Description

VYPE Films is looking for experienced freelance videographers to capture game film and sporting events for coaches across the greater Houston and surrounding areas. This job will require you to come to the office to pick up filming equipment prior to your shift, drive out to the location to set up and film the game, and deliver the completed game film back to our office immediately following the event. We provide the equipment for each game, and opportunities are available for filmers with their own DSLR camera equipment.

Games occur every Monday-Friday night between 3PM and 10PM, and all day on Saturday. If you are typically unavailable during these times, please do not apply. You must be set up and ready to film at your location 45 minutes before game time. All video will be taken from the top of the stadium press boxes and bleachers, or from filming stands. You are allowed to bring a backpack with lunch, snacks, and drinks. The more dependable and reliable you are, the more shifts you will receive.

Requirements

You MUST:

• Be able to work in all weather conditions.
• Have the ability to climb ladders or stairs, not be afraid of heights, and film from on top of filming scaffold stands.
• Be able to carry bags weighing 5 to 15 pounds.
• Be dependable.
• Be available Saturdays from 7:30AM to 5PM and Weekdays from 3PM to 10PM.
• Have reliable transportation and be available to travel throughout the greater Houston and surrounding areas.
• Follow detailed instructions on our method of filming and policies.

Benefits

We provide the equipment for each game, and pay ranges from $10.00 - $15.00 per hour. You can choose your own hours, with flexibility on weekends as needed.
