Job Description

The Unity Developer will be integral to the development and delivery of products and services for the health sector in the UK and globally at XR Therapeutics. This role requires a highly experienced Unity specialist with 10-15 years of commercial experience to develop VR environments and further advance the cloud-based Software as a Service (SaaS) multi-user product. The developer will collaborate with a team of six developers and report regularly to the Chief Technology Officer.

Requirements

Essential:

  • 10+ years experience with a deep knowledge of Unity 3D
  • Object-oriented programming in C++/C#
  • 3D graphics programming experience
  • Experience with cloud-based SaaS technology and solid knowledge of AWS and network optimisation
  • Excellent JIRA software product development skills
  • Experience with specification software such as Miro, Balsamiq, and Lucid Chart
  • Scrum-based agile mindset
  • Proven team building and mentoring skills
  • Excellent understanding of 3D modelling optimisation requirements for “in-game” scenarios
  • Excellent understanding of UX/UI design in 3D environments
  • Ability to build rapid prototypes for VR/AR/MR
  • Excellent spoken and written communication and presentation skills

Desirable:

  • Demonstrable VR/AR/MR project experience
  • Experience developing for Meta standalone HMDs
  • Knowledge of cyber security B2B and B2C standards
