Job Description

The Creative Artworker role is part of the ITG Agency team, reporting directly to the Head of Studio. This position involves design adaptation, artwork, pre-press production services, and consultancy. The Creative Artworker will be responsible for the production of artwork for various assets derived from master design files, ensuring high standards of design principles, brand consistency, technical accuracy, and efficiency. The role includes supporting the Production Team in validating design files and addressing any queries or issues that arise.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Artwork Production:

• Provide production for projects including design adaptation, layout, artwork creation, and minor colour retouching as needed.
• Ensure the production adheres to the highest standards and follows established guidelines.
• Maintain consistency in both design and technical specifications across projects.
• Produce artwork that complies with provided design files and brand guidelines, escalating any issues to the production team or Head of Studio.

Pre-production:

• Attend pre-production meetings to assess new projects.
• Implement design adaptation solutions in accordance with customer guidelines.
• Review project designs and confirm acceptance of briefs while escalating any issues.

Systems & Process:

• Adhere to Studio systems and processes consistently.
• Provide input for continuous improvement of Studio systems and processes.

Quality Management:

• Ensure adherence to internal Quality Control processes.

Colour Management:

• Develop artwork according to studio colour management processes for consistency.

Capability Development:

• Engage in continuous self-education in creative artwork for digital and print media.
• Proactively enhance software knowledge and competencies.

Requirements

• Applied knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite production software.
• Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and layout.
• Ability to interpret design guidelines accurately in artwork execution.
• Good understanding of artwork specification requirements for print and static digital media.
• Familiarity with digital workflow systems.
• An exceptional eye for detail and high-quality standards.
• Proactive in developing new knowledge and skills.
• Good communication skills for liaising with all stakeholders in the production process.
• Knowledge of colour management and proofing is advantageous.
• 5 years of experience in creative artwork production.
• Skills in PowerPoint and Keynote are beneficial.
