Job Description

As a Senior Content Designer at GetYourGuide, you will be part of a cross-functional team committed to crafting high-quality UX copy and enhancing user experience within the Traveler Marketplace team. Your role will focus on developing strategic, user-centered content that positions GetYourGuide as the preferred partner for suppliers worldwide. You will lead high-priority content design projects, collaborate with product designers and UX researchers, mentor other content designers, and ensure the alignment of your projects with the company’s objectives and user needs.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications for this role include:

• 5+ years of experience in end-to-end UX writing in a start-up, SMB, large company with a digital offering, or design consulting agency.
• Proven track record in leading medium to large UX writing projects with a user-centered approach.
• Familiarity with UX writing across multiple platforms (mobile and desktop).
• Ability to present UX writing solutions and develop a content strategy for a product.
• Experience working closely within cross-disciplinary product teams, including product managers and engineers.
• Strong communication and collaboration history with other functional roles.
• Understanding of how UX writing impacts business objectives and KPIs.
• A portfolio showcasing relevant work illustrating your process and approach to UX writing.
• Experience in mentoring other designers and guiding freelancers.

Preferred qualifications:

• Expertise in B2C platforms with a deep understanding of business needs and challenges.
• A problem-solving mindset focused on outcomes and applying user feedback or multivariate testing to validate UX copy.
• An innate ability to think systemically about the broader implications of design decisions.
