Job Description

Position: PR Copywriting Executive

Location: Newstead, hybrid

Salary: £26,000 - £30,000

I am exclusively partnered with an established business just outside of Nottingham who are seeking a driven and enthusiastic copywriter to join the team. As PR & Copywriting Executive, you’ll be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging, and user-focused copy across multiple channels. A core channel you will be responsible for is PR - with a chance to drive change to meet our digital PR objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • PR Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute PR plans, maintain press relationships, and manage media inquiries. Transition from traditional to digital PR methods to enhance exposure.
  • Press Engagement: Craft and distribute press releases, pitch stories to national and local media, and share secured coverage with stakeholders.
  • Media Monitoring & Analysis: Track and analyse media coverage, utilizing online tools to assess PR effectiveness.
  • Internal Communications: Support internal messaging by crafting engaging content to boost staff and supplier engagement.
  • Content Creation: Collaborate with the marketing team to produce SEO-optimized copy for various digital and print platforms, ensuring brand consistency across channels.
  • Content Review & Reporting: Proofread content, maintain clear communication, and generate performance reports with actionable insights.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay updated on PR trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a PR or copywriting role.
  • Excellent written communication, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering PR and marketing campaigns to improve business performance.
