Job Description

As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality cloud-based applications. You will be part of a high-performing cross-functional Agile team that fosters teamwork, collaboration, and trust, working together to deliver robust and future-proof global solutions that align with business goals. Your role involves building Java modules, mentoring junior developers, reviewing their code, and ensuring the functionality, security, and performance of the applications. This is a hybrid role - three days per week in the Newcastle office.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of current Java development experience.
• Strong testing background.
• Experience in requirements gathering.
• Experience in mentoring junior developers and a passion for it.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and Agile ceremonies.
• Strong documentation skills for describing logic, coding, and testing.
