Job Description

Role: Creative Copywriter (Maternity Cover)

Location: Newcastle upon Tyne

Work arrangement: Hybrid (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday office-based, with Wednesdays and Fridays working from home)

Hours: Full-time preferred (open to part-time, minimum 3 days per week office-based, subject to discussion)

Salary Range: £27,000 - £33,000 (dependent on ability and experience, prorated for part-time hours)

Contract: Temporary (11 months maternity cover)

We are seeking an enthusiastic Creative Copywriter to join our team, where you’ll have the opportunity to work on exciting branding and marketing projects for both global brands and start-ups. In this role, you will craft engaging brand messaging, create impactful presentations, and develop compelling social media content. Working proactively and independently is important, as is effective collaboration with clients and internal teams.

Requirements

Proven experience in writing creative copy

Ability to craft, present, and participate in client presentations

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated ability to think creatively and develop unique concepts

Familiarity with social media platforms and content creation

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Personable, confident, and adaptable to fast-paced environments

Degree or equivalent qualification and 3+ years of professional experience.

Nice-to-have Skills

Strategic thinking and the ability to identify opportunities and innovative solutions

Previous experience in brand and marketing
