The Agoda Design Team, located in Bangkok and Gurugram, is seeking a Lead Product Designer. This role involves working closely with product managers and engineers to craft innovative solutions. The Lead Product Designer will be instrumental in understanding and integrating cultural nuances and consumer preferences into product design, ensuring localization and quality standards are met.

Requirements

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading major design initiatives and collaborating with product teams.
• Managing stakeholders and effectively communicating with design and product colleagues.
• Understanding the online travel market, payment methods, marketing strategies, and support channels.
• Setting and refining design quality standards in alignment with design leadership.
• Promoting design with accessibility considerations.
• Building partnerships across Product, Research, Engineering, and Design Leadership.
• Enhancing design by testing prototypes and gathering user feedback.

Desired skills and experience:

• Strong user interface and visual design skills.
• Proficiency with design tools and frameworks such as Figma and WCAG.
• Ability to define workstreams, communicate plans and execute them successfully.
• Research focus with an understanding of cultural nuances.
• Experience in partner-facing research (B2B) related to accommodations.
• Previous experience with an online travel agency (preferred).
