Are you a creative powerhouse with a knack for crafting engaging video content? If you’re passionate about producing outstanding visuals and pushing the boundaries of storytelling, this role is for you. As a Video & Motion Graphics Editor at Global, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the video content for an exciting new podcast project. From ideation to execution, you’ll create shareable, audience-grabbing videos that elevate our podcast’s reach and impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Video Content Creation (60%): Produce high-quality video content, including daily clips for social media and full-length interviews/episodes; use Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects to create dynamic, visually appealing motion-graphics-led video; adapt content for various platforms, tailoring edits to maximise audience engagement.
- Content Strategy & Collaboration (20%): Shape and evolve the podcast’s video output, ensuring alignment with audience growth goals; collaborate with stakeholders to refine video strategies; foster strong relationships across teams to maintain consistent production excellence.
- Technical Expertise & Innovation (20%): Leverage knowledge of video tech, including vision mixers, PTZ cameras, playout systems, and streaming tools; stay ahead of industry trends to bring fresh ideas and innovative solutions to the team.

What You’ll Need
- Passion for Content: A love for news, politics, and current affairs, with the ability to translate that passion into compelling videos. Experience in a newsroom environment would be an advantage.
- Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro is essential; experience with After Effects and motion graphics is highly desirable.
- Digital Savvy: Strong understanding of social media platforms and content adaptation.
- Collaborative Spirit: Excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude.
