Job Description

As a Back-End Developer at Dark Carz Technologies, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side components of our web applications. You will collaborate closely with front-end developers to ensure seamless data flow and optimal user experience. Your work will directly impact the performance, security, and scalability of our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side logic, databases, and APIs.
• Implement and manage complex database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Build and optimize RESTful APIs and integrate with front-end systems.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure smooth and efficient communication between the client and server.
• Ensure the security and integrity of application data, including implementing encryption and authentication mechanisms.
• Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code, following best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across the entire back-end infrastructure.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Contribute to the overall system architecture and infrastructure decisions.
• Participate in code reviews, pair programming, and team meetings.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in one or more back-end programming languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, Ruby, PHP).
• Experience with database management and optimization (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with server-side frameworks (e.g., Express, Django, Spring, Ruby on Rails).
• Experience with RESTful API design and development.
• Solid understanding of authentication mechanisms (e.g., JWT, OAuth).
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Understanding of agile methodologies.
