Job Description

The Bamford Collection is a group of consciously minded lifestyle brands committed to nourishing and nurturing people and planet. We are currently recruiting a Social Media Manager, reporting to our Senior Marketing Manager. This role is responsible for executing the day-to-day management of our social strategy for Daylesford Organic, which is critical to our growth in enhancing our positioning as aspirational lifestyle and wellness brands while attracting new customers and fostering engagement and loyalty. The Social Media Manager will support content creation, capturing events, and collaborating with the social team to produce content that aligns with our strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Strategy development: Create and implement a comprehensive social media plan, including a Daylesford-specific content plan.
• Social media management: Oversee and maintain social media accounts across all platforms, including regular monitoring of interactions.
• Content creation: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop engaging and relevant content for social channels.
• Event coverage: Attend events to capture content that engages new audiences, demonstrating our values and stories.
• Collaboration: Work closely with marketing and content teams to ensure alignment with key seasonal wellness moments and launches.
• Audience engagement: Interact with followers and stakeholders professionally on social media platforms.
• Performance analysis: Report weekly on social media metrics and optimize performance based on data-driven decisions.
• Social trend expert: Stay updated on social media trends, algorithms, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in social media marketing roles.
• A genuine passion for social media and creative content.
• In-depth knowledge of all social media platforms and scheduling tools.
• Ability to shoot and edit user-generated content (UGC) with strong attention to detail.
• Knowledge of video editing software.
• Ability to create eye-catching social content that engages the audience.
• Strong collaboration skills with an ability to work seamlessly with colleagues.
• Excellent multitasking abilities and prioritization of content requirements.
• Interest in organic produce, well-being trends, and sustainable products.
• Strong understanding of reporting and data analysis for performance optimization.
