The Marketing team, part of the Marketing and Student Services Directorate, aims to create a data and insights-led marketing strategy.
As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for leading digital campaign delivery, managing channel splits, budget planning, and reporting on performance metrics. You will work collaboratively with various stakeholders and maintain a focus on audience-first, data-driven strategies.
Requirements
Preferred qualifications for the role include:
- Extensive experience in digital campaign management and media buying.
- A proven track record of planning campaigns that achieve results.
- Strong understanding of analytics tools, particularly GA4, with experience in KPI reporting, optimization, and knowledge sharing.
- Experience in either a hands-on agency or an in-house environment would be advantageous.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and optimize the digital media budget to meet student recruitment KPIs.
- Lead the overall digital campaign delivery and be accountable for performance KPIs and optimization.
- Engage actively with all digital marketing channels including Paid Search, Paid Social, Affiliates, and Display.
- Work closely with suppliers, including digital agencies and affiliate partners, to ensure media plans and activities align with briefs.
- Monitor digital accounts for performance, proactively recommending optimizations.
- Accurately phase and track budgets.
- Measure campaign success and contribute results to wider marketing reports.
- Support the Performance Marketing Manager with A/B testing across platforms and channels.
- Build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Champion the University’s new identity and brand in all deliverables.
- Support University events as needed, including occasional weekend work for open days.
