4Studio is the driving force behind C4’s digital acceleration strategy, aimed at creating, adapting, and distributing content across social and digital channels to build engaged audiences.

The Senior Video Producer, Food will manage a team producing original short-form digital food & drink content. The role requires a strong understanding of social media trends and the ability to deliver engaging content swiftly, overseeing projects from idea development to post-production.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a social-first food production team to develop short-form food content.
• Ensure visually appealing presentation of food content.
• Liaise with internal teams and Channel 4 commissioners on content production.
• Occasionally get hands-on by producing, editing, appearing on camera, and running shoots.
• Refine and adapt recipe ideas into series.
• Oversee production design and branding in conjunction with the Design Department.
• Work with Development Producer to create and implement ideas.
• Approve all aspects of pre and post-production.
• Manage strict budgets and timelines, using data analytics to inform future projects.
• Produce diverse content that authentically represents target audiences.

Requirements

• Proven experience in creating quality social-first food video content.
• Strong understanding of food & drink content audience engagement.
• In-depth knowledge of production processes and post-production delivery.
• Desirable skills include shooting and editing.
• Experience in appearing on camera and managing creative teams.
• Proven ability to manage project budgets and complex stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience in the broadcasting, branding, or agency environment is a plus.
• Ability to handle fast turnaround or reactive content is essential.

Salary

Basic salary starting at £63,000.00 dependent on experience.

Hybrid Working

From September 2023, employees will work at least 3 days per week in-office, with up to 2 days working from home. A policy for working from different locations for up to 10 days is also in place.
