Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Video Editor to join our real estate media company. This individual will play a crucial role in bringing to life captivating video content, especially focusing on Virtual Tours, Video Tours, and Aerial/Drone Videos for real estate listings. The ideal candidate possesses impeccable file management skills and a flair for storytelling through visual media.

Key Responsibilities include creating branded and unbranded photo slideshows synchronized with music, utilizing Final Cut Pro X or a video editing system of choice to produce high-quality content, and uploading finalized content to YouTube and Dropbox. The candidate will also collaborate with Lead Editors in crafting engaging video tours and aerial videos, assist customers with their editing requests, and produce internal video content for team initiatives.

This role requires the individual to maintain impeccable file organization to ensure efficient workflows and easy access to assets and finalized content. You must be well-versed with Slack for team communication, and the role necessitates working during U.S. business hours, predominantly starting at 9 AM EST.

Requirements

• Proven experience in video editing, preferably within the real estate sector.
• Proficiency in using Final Cut Pro X or other professional video editing software.
• Strong attention to detail and an eye for visual composition, including a strong understanding of color correction techniques (DaVinci experience preferred but not required).
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Familiarity with YouTube, Dropbox, and other content sharing platforms.
• Experience working with programs such as Motion or Adobe After Effects to create custom graphics and lower third graphics.
