Job Description

We’re looking for a talented Motion Graphics Designer & Animator to join our team on a freelance basis. This is a 3-month rolling contract, requiring one day per week onsite in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving projects from concept to completion while incorporating stakeholder feedback.

Requirements

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Self-Starter: Able to take direction but also drive projects from concept to completion.
  • Adobe Creative Suite Expert: Advanced skills in After Effects and Illustrator.
  • Motion & Animation Mastery: Experience in character animation, typography, storyboarding, video editing, sound design, and storytelling across various formats, including short-form, long-form, digital display, animated social content, and GIFs.
  • Optimisation Knowledge: Understanding of file exports per channel, optimisation tools, and HTML exports.
  • Strong Portfolio: Demonstrated ability to animate both characters and motion graphics/text.
  • Team Player: Able to collaborate effectively with Tech and Creative teams, handling feedback and tight deadlines with ease.
  • Industry Awareness: Familiar with working practices in advertising, PR, and creative media.
