Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with a strong background in Java back-end development, SQL/RDBMS, and Angular for front-end development. The position requires face-to-face interviews and is hybrid, requiring 3 days a week in the office in Montreal, QC. Candidates should possess a minimum of 7 years of experience.
Requirements
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of professional experience in Java back-end development (Java 8+ preferred).
- Strong experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC).
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (e.g., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
- Experience building UI components with Angular 8+.
- Knowledge of RESTful API development and integration.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Experience with build tools and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Maven, Jenkins).
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming and design patterns.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with microservices architecture.
- Experience in cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
