Job Description

We are looking for a strong Full Stack Developer to join the Risk and Information management team and help deliver key initiatives. The applicant should be a strong Java and Angular Developer, with strong design and implementation fundamentals. Prior experience in finance or legal operations will be useful, however, the ability and willingness to quickly master new technical and business concepts will be considered.

The applicant will be working with an energetic team of highly intellectual and creative developers who work on bleeding edge projects using a variety of different technologies. Daily responsibilities include transforming requirements into code, attending scrum meetings, reporting on project status, and learning our in-house frameworks and best practices.

Requirements

Relevant Experience: 7 – 15+ Years

Skills Required:

• 7 – 15+ years of hands-on experience in Java J2EE, able to write optimized, efficient, and clean code.
• 6 – 10+ years of hands-on experience in designing and creating web applications using Angular, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, NodeJS.
• Strong knowledge of Spring framework, including Spring Data, Spring Security, Spring AOP, etc.
• Strong knowledge of test automation tools in both backend and front-end.
• Strong Object-Oriented Programming and Design Pattern concepts with practical experience.
• Linux, Unix, Shell Scripting knowledge.
• DevOps experience covering CI CD pipeline management and application deployment using containers.
• Strong Agile experience with an ability to understand and execute various squad responsibilities including scrum master duties.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and implement solutions.
• Team player with strong attitude and work ethics.
• Strong oral and written communication skills to work effectively with global teams.
• Ability to write unit tests that exercise all major logic components of the code.

Skills Desired:

• Strong database skills including PL SQL and query tuning.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and other DB technologies.
• Experience with Camunda 7+ implementation.
• Knowledge of OAuth2 and OIDC.
• Experience with messaging middleware such as Kafka.
• Working knowledge of rules engines like Drools.
• Understanding of layered architecture and component-based architecture.
• Unix OS, Scripting, Python knowledge.
• Experience of working as part of a global team in an Agile Scrum environment.

Additional Information

This role requires a candidate who is willing to quickly master new technical and business concepts, so previous experience in finance or legal operations is advantageous but not mandatory. Strong collaborative and communication skills are essential to work effectively with a global team.
