Job Description

Musicteam is a small collective of singers and musicians operating mainly in the greater London area (West, North, Central, and South London). We are a care home music agency seeking one or both of the following roles: a singer with backing tracks and sound system, or a singer who also plays guitar. Sessions typically last an hour, with some two-hour sessions available.

The pay for these roles varies: £20 per hour for 1-to-1 sessions (best suited to guitarists who sing), mid-sized group sessions pay around £50 to £60 for both backing tracks and guitarists, and entertainers who bring their own sound system and equipment can earn £90+ per hour.

We require artistes with a large and varied repertoire, including a mix of contemporary songs and sing-along songs for the elderly (over 60s). Candidates must demonstrate empathy and compassion when working with all ages and abilities. The work is ongoing and year-round, offering the potential for substantial daytime income, ideal for artists who perform at night and may lack opportunities during the day. Self-employment and DBS checks are mandatory. If you’re not DBS checked, we can process that for you at your cost.

Requirements

• Must be a singer with backing tracks or a singer who plays guitar.

• Self-employed status required.
• DBS checked (or agree to be processed at your cost).
• Availability for ongoing work and flexibility in scheduling.
