Job Description

A fast-growing online pharmacy is on the lookout for a UI/UX Designer to join their team on a 6-month contract. They need someone who can jump into ongoing projects and help refine the digital experience across their website and mobile app.

Position: UX/UI Designer - Contract

Company: Online Pharmacy

Rate: £150 per day (Inside IR35)

Schedule: 2 Days per week in the office in Leeds

Role and Responsibilities

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to design innovative and user-friendly interfaces.
• Conduct user research, analyze insights, and integrate findings into design solutions.
• Support design validation through usability testing.
• Design and refine UI components, ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and a high-quality user experience.
• Collaborate in the creation and maintenance of comprehensive design systems.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging design tools/technologies.

Skills and Experience

• 4-5 years of experience in UX/UI design.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative, and/or InVision.
• Solid understanding of UX principles, responsive design, and design systems.
• Experience with user research, usability testing, and gathering insights for design iterations.
• Strong visual design skills, with an eye for detail and user-centered design.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work with external agencies and internal teams efficiently.

Additional Information

This role is contract-based for 6 months and requires a commitment of 2 days a week in the office located in Leeds.
